Recently delivered from EMD, a brand new SD70ACe is the point power on a westbound intermodal train as it nears the old SP station of Mons on the Yuma Subdivision located east of Beaumont

Near the old SP station of Fingal on the Yuma Sub, a brand new UP SD70ACe leads a westbound intermodal train through the curves as it grinds up the eastern slope of Beaumont Hill.

Late afternoon light finds UP 8789 west leading a long KG4LBB at Verbenia between West Palm Springs and Cabazon on the Sunset Route.

On its first run west after being delivered onto the UP property, 8789 west grinds up the east slope of Beaumont Pass near old Mons in the late afternoon.
